Long shadows

I am an Urban(art)ist – drawn to the city. My recent walks through the city of Cape Town have resulted in drawings, prints and collages that aim to capture the long shadows and shapes that move and stretch over buildings in the early mornings and late evenings as well as the mood of the city at this time of day.

These two etchings are part of a series of prints that I worked on in my spare time during my internship at Warren Editions earlier this year and are available through the South African Print Gallery. I learnt so much about intaglio printmaking from Zhané Warren, printmaker/owner of WE.
